In the second quarter of 2025, several business finance and solutions applications on the iOS platform showed varying performance trends in Kenya. According to Sensor Tower data, here’s how the top five apps fared during this period.
M-PESA for Business from Safaricom Limited experienced a fluctuating download pattern. Starting with 382 weekly downloads, the numbers dipped slightly mid-quarter but rebounded to approximately 432 by the end of June.
Kopo Kopo saw a relatively stable download trajectory, beginning with 227 downloads and peaking at 379 in mid-April, maintaining a steady level around 319 by the quarter's close.
PayPal Business demonstrated consistent download activity, with numbers ranging from 91 to 181 weekly downloads. The app's active users increased from 446 to approximately 479, showing a slight upward trend throughout the quarter.
WAAFI Business had a modest download count, starting at 82 and reaching a high of 205 in mid-May, before stabilizing around 108 towards the end of June.
For Invoice Maker Tofu & Estimates by GetPaid Inc., weekly revenue showed peaks and troughs, with a notable high of $546 in mid-May. Downloads, however, decreased significantly, dropping to single digits by the end of June. Active users remained relatively high, beginning at 1.1K and slightly declining to 1.1K by quarter’s end.
